Wine Review: This very dark purple Carmenere opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry with notes of blueberry, blackberry, and a dash of pepper. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely extended. If you have not had a Very Good Carmenere lately, give this entry level offering a try. It would go perfectly with Theresa’s meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Profound and expressive aromas of strawberries, cherries and a touch of pepper fill the nose. In the mouth, it is silky, with sweet tannins and a long, pleasant finish.
