Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Shiraz and Cinsault blend from South Africa opens with a very fragrant strawberry and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. While this wine is not very complex, it displays tasty strawberry and plum flavors. I also detected hints of raspberry tea and purple grapes. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This wine, while fruity will pair well with food. I would pair it with a lamb burger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This Shiraz-Cinsault blend is an opulent expression of berries and blackcurrant. The palate is smooth and lingering with refined, soft tannins. Crafted with a French flair, Le Rouge is fresh, balanced and appealing.
