Wine Review: This dark violet colored Shiraz based wine from down under opens with a very vegetal bouquet of green pepper and tomato leaf. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a chocolate coated strawberry with notes of expresso. We also detected hints of balsamic and blueberry mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Shiraz with a slow cooked pot roast or pulled pork. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The seamless integration of Shiraz co-fermented with Viognier, generates a seductive nose of apricots, spice and ripe berries. The palate is smooth and full of rich flavor, perfect for a long lingering finish of delightfully soft Shiraz fruit, but not without the punch.
