Wine Review: This orangish red colored Pinot Noir from the Finger Lakes is a very good value. It opens with a pleasant mild strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild plum with notes of strawberry, gentle oak and a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. It is really hard to find a very good Pinot under $20. That said, give this one a try! It is very food friendly and a deal at $18. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Flavors of strawberry and red currant, accented by hints of oak and earthy undertones. A lively Pinot with a polished finish.
