Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant ripe boysenberry and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry and chalky mineral blend. I also detected some oak and blueberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors are very nicely prolonged. This Zin is a good drinking wine and doesn't really need food. If you want to nibble, pair it with Kerrygold Dubliner cheese and stone wheat crackers. Enjoy - Ken
