Wine Review: This is a crisp Chardonnay that is light yellow colored with a bouquet of pear, lemon verbena, brioche and pineapple. It is clean, light to medium bodied, with bright acidity and good balance. Flavors of green apple, grapefruit, nectarine, light minerality and ginger. The finish is moderate with citrus notes. Serve with a roast pork loin with apple cider glaze. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: The small addition of Monterey Chardonnay fruit to our cuvee brings softness that balances the refreshing acidity from Mendocino fruit. Very aromatic notes of lemon blossom and anise foretell a honeyed mouthful of apricot and fresh grapefruit. A mouth-watering mid-palate gives way to a plush finish. All of this and no oak!
