Wine Review: This is not your typical Aglianico. It is opaque and very dark purple colored. It opens with a stewed plum bouquet with hints of craisin, clove and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild raspberry and plum blend with notes of gentle minerality and oak. The finish is dry and its dusty mild tannins are a little bit sticky. I would pair this Aglianico with steak tips. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Colour: Dark, deep, rub red, with clear purplish tones.
Bouquet: this wine is clear and complex, with enjoyable hints of cherry and red berries fragrance, followed by a marked vanilla and spicy note.
Flavour: Excellent mouth entry, elegant and warm and full-bodied. Good length and persistence that leaves an enjoyable soft sensation and a pleasant mouth which asks for another sip. With nuances of cherry, plum and spice.
