Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Syrah opens with a fragrant black raspberry and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and savory. The flavor profile is black raspberry with notes of black pepper. There is also a hint of black licorice in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are tingly and linger for a little while. This Syrah would pair very well with beef bourguignonne. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of plum, cassis, and blackberry; with hints of vanilla, earth, and white pepper. The mouth is rich - layered with flavors of ripe berries, black cherry jam, and red currants; followed by mineral and cracked black pepper. Mouthfilling tannins provide an opulent finish of fruit and spice.
