Wine Review: This light coral colored wine from Verdad opens with an appealing watermelon and Maraschino cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between its acidity and flavors. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused faint Maraschino cherry. I also detected hints of watermelon and a touch of lime in the end. The finish is dry and refreshing and would be prefect for the beach. It is also very food friendly and would pair well with steamed Nova Scotia mussels. Enjoy - Ken
