2008 Vina Robles Sauvignon Blanc "Jardine"![]() Winery: Vina Robles Vintage: 2008 Wine Name/Vineyard: "Jardine" Wine Category: Sauvignon Blanc Grape blend: 100% Sauvignon Blanc Region: Paso Robles State or country: CA Price: $16 Cases produced: 1,946 KWG Score: 89.2 (based on 5 reviews) Ken's Wine Rating: Very Good (87) Review date: June 21, 2009 Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc was recommended from its flight in a recent tasting. It opens with an attractive light honeydew melon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is green apple with hints of mild grapefruit and coconut. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. Our mini group thought this wine would pair well with linguine with a white clam sauce. Enjoy - Ken Winemaker Notes: Brilliant yellow. Melon, ripe pear, and lychee bouquet. Dry, medium bodied white wine with a rich creaminess on the palate with flavors of honeysuckle and stone fruit; bright and refreshing with well balanced acidity.
