Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Grenache opens with a mild plum and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a mild blueberry and boysenberry blend with hints of plum and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky. This very good Grenache is food friendly and would pair well with barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Vina Zorzal Garnacha Vinas Viejas is obtained from Garnacha vines in the villages of Fitero and Corella averaging 50 years old and more. It is an intense red wine, fermented at relatively low temperature and given four months' aging in new oak barrels.
