It opens with an acai and blueberry bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and displays a soft, round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a tasty Acai with notes of blackberry. I also detected a touch of red currant, minerality and old oak. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are a bit sticky and linger nicely. This wine would pair nicely with beef bourguignon.
