Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay from Wente opens with a nose of honeycrisp apple, apricot, vanilla and gentle oak. On the palate, it is medium bodied, nicely rounded, and balanced with some bright acidity peeking through. The flavors were similar to the bouquet with some light oak and butter added to the mix. It displays a pleasantly extended dry and lingering finish. We would pair this Chard with Panko breaded fried tilapia with lemon and butter. We think it’s a great value wine! – Karen and Stuart

Winemaker Notes: Crisp flavors of green apple and tropical fruit, balanced by vanilla and a touch of toasty oak from barrel aging. With a mouth-filling body and balanced acidity, this wine delivers a medium-long, refreshing finish.
