Wine Review: This light straw-colored Pinot Blanc from Winderlea opens with a fragrant and appealing guava, lime and chamomile tea bouquet. On the palate, palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, juicy and offers a touch of sweetness. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe grapefruit (but more sweet than tangy) with notes of mild minerality. I also detected hints of quince and lime mixed in as well. The finish remains off-dry and its flavors are nicely extended. This Pinot Blanc did not last long, and a second glass is a must! I would enjoy it with coconut macaroon cookies. Enjoy - Ken
