Wine Review: This wine was our favorite from a mini-tasting that I recently conducted. It is very dark purple colored and opens with a ripe blueberry bouquet and hint of coffee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and quite fruit forward. The flavor profile is an extracted blueberry and boysenberry blend with a hint of oak and menthol. The finish is quite dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for quite sometime. This wine paired very well with Mark's mild chili. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2007 offers an aromatic nose of roses, lavender, dark cherries and raspberries and a hint of vanilla bean. The palate is rich and mouth-coating with soft, grainy tannins. As the wine evolves it will develop the trademark dusty rose, dry cocoa powder, freshly-sawn jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata)and leathery earthiness that this vineyard produces year in, year out. - Peter Fraser, Winemaker
