Wine Review: This light straw colored Gruner Vetliner from the Edna Valley opens with a fragrant lime zest and green grape bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, round and viscous. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral influenced green apple with notes of white pepper. I also detected a hint of yellow grapefruit and lime zest. The finish is dry and its gentle acidity and flavors linger nicely. This Gruner will be a real crowd pleaser. A second glass is a must. Pair with seared sea scallops. Enjoy - Ken (SIP Certified)
