Wine Review: This opaque and deep ruby colored Malbec opens with a fragrant spicy pomegranate bouquet with notes of ripe black cherry and red currant. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, viscous, balanced, and very old school. The flavor profile is an oak and black currant blend with notes of plum and a good dose of black pepper. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. If you like Old World styled Malbec with less up front fruit, then this offering will be perfect for you. Try it with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Zuccardi Q Malbec 2009 is the blend of three unique vineyard sites. It shows a red violet color, with bluish hues. Intense red and black fruits aromas. Spicy, violet and chocolate nuances. Silky entry with great structure, soft and mature tannins. Intense fruity flavors and a persistent finish.
