Wine Review: This pitch black colored Shiraz based wine opens with a Chambord blackberry liqueur bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and savory. The flavor profile is a blend of blackberry and black currant with hints of plum and mild oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while after the wine is gone. I would pair this wine with maple chicken with cranberry and mushrooms. Enjoy – Ken
