Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Blue Farm opens with a very shy rhubarb and faint raspberry bouquet with hints of fresh herbs, cinnamon, and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright, and savory. The flavor profile is black tea and black plum blend with notes of marionberry, licorice and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of cardamon, clove, and black coffee. The finish is dry, and its flavors and integrated tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with an ahi tuna poke bowl or with a pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
