Wine Review: This pale pink colored Rosé from Southern Franc opens with a very fragrant maraschino cherry and lime zest bouquet with hints of sea spray and crush seashells. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and fresh. The flavor profile is a crushed stone and watermelon blend with notes of lime zest. I also detected hints of white pepper and saline. The finish is slightly off dry and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. This Rosé would pair well with shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken
