Wine Review: Another Washington Merlot moved into the recommended column in our blind tasting of affordable Merlots. This dark red wine has a mild black cherry bouquet with hints of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is soft, nicely balanced, and has pleasant cherry flavors. The panel thought this wine would pair well with pork tenderloin. The finish is nicely dry and prolonged. Enjoy very good value wine - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The dark red color, cherry fruit and warm, smoky toast flavors apparent in this wine are all trademark descriptors for Washington Merlot. This blend is attractively fruity with a medium-ruby color.
