Wine Review: I love Gewürztraminer when made well. Made well in my book does not mean that you extract "All" the suger and sweetness out during the wine making process. Leidenfrost found the right balance and I highly commend them. This wine opens with a classic floral bouquet. On the palate, the wine is creamy, smooth, and has a little sugar but it is well integrated. There is a touch of spiciness as well. The finish is clean and refreshing. This is clearly a find and an absolute steal at $12. It is best Gewürz that I found on our trip and one of two Gewürztraminer’s I am recommending. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Possibly our best Gewurztraminer ever, this one has it all–the fragrance of lychee fruit and flowers, a citrus mid-palate and finish. Gewurztraminer is generally recommended with spicy Oriental foods, notably Thai and Szechuan Chinese foods, Our customers stock up on this wine for the winter holidays, finding it goes well with turkey and other festive foods.

What did the grape say when the elephant stepped on it? It didn't say anything. It just let out a little whine.
