Wine Review: This dark red wine was clearly one of the best red wines we tried during our recent trip to the Finger Lakes. This wine opens with a light blackberry bouquet with hints of a little earth. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very smooth, elegant, and has good blackberry and raspberry like flavors. The wine also has good structure. This wine would match perfectly with veal parmigiano. The finish is dry, has very fine tannins, and sails along nicely. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine duet is an equal blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc that sings with pleasure. Like a doubles tennis match, there are more bodies - sometimes complementing, sometimes highlighting - but always making it interesting. 85% 2005 vintage.
