Wine Review: Dry Creek’s Cab finished with a Very Good 88.25 score in our recent blind tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon. This dark red wine opens with a mild but earthy and spicy blackberry bouquet with hints raspberries. On the palate, this wine is well balanced, smooth, had some complexity and displays mild black current & black licorice flavors. The finish is very very dry, has fine tannins, and stays with you for a while. This is a good value grilled steak wine. This wine could benefit from decanting now and might reach the next level with a year in the cellar. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: At first swirl, this wine presents a dark ruby color accompanied by purple hues and a sense of texture in the glass. Aromas of black cherry and plum along with vanilla and black pepper come forward with additional time. On the palate, the flavors are complex and balanced with deep blackberry, coffee, and cedar along with more subtle notes of dark chocolate. This finish brings all of this together with supple tannins and a long, lingering aftertaste.
