The result is a terrific combination that I really enjoyed. The wine opens with a spicy light licorice like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round, tasty, mouthwatering and shows spicy plum like flavors. The finish is very very dry, and lingers for a while. This is a perfect beef stew wine.
