Wine Review: I generally prefer Barbaresco’s over Barolo’s. The reason is they tend to be ready for consumption sooner & they cost less. This offering from Produttori proves that very point. This very dark purple wine opens with a mild dark berry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is well balanced, with nicely integrated acidity, and spicy black cherry flavors with notes of light oak. The finish is dry and its soft tannins linger for an exceptionally long time. I loved that aspect of this wine. I enjoyed this wine at fantastic restaurant in Birmingham, AL called GianMarcos. It paired perfectly with my veal parmigianna. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Full bodied vintage, bright, and floral fruit. Character supported by intense tannins. Very long finish. Best between 2009 and 2020.
