Wine Review: This V-Twin Zin motored into second place in our recent blind tasting of Zinfandels. This purple wine opens with a mild cassis and cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, velvety, easy to drink and has pleasant jammy cherry flavors. The finish is dry, has light tannins, and shows some length. This very food friendly wine would pair nicely with veal medallions or veal marsala. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Flavor notes of raspberry and bing cherry that typify this red varietal. Barrel aging provides hints of oak and vanilla to the wine - leaving a soft, smooth caramel & cocoa finish. This Zinfandel is ripe with aromas of raspberry, plums, sage, blackberry jam and black pepper.
