This ruby red wine opens with a very interesting and appealing minty and eucalyptus like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, easy to drink, well balanced, and has light cherry cola like flavors with some menthol influence. The finish is dry and a little prolonged. This wine is very food friendly and the panel felt it would pair nicely with meatloaf or marinated steak tips. Enjoy - KWGTP Winemaker Notes: Planted in the calcareous soils of the West Side, the head-pruned old vines of the Dusi Vineyard produce small quantities of fruit with dense concentration and wild spice. On the nose, this wine shows bright bramble fruit, ripe raspberry. The palate is complex, brambly, wild berry and black berry fruit. Dusi…The Standard.
