His 2006 Pinot Noir is a perfect example of this approach. This dark red wine opens with a very pleasant raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very smooth and well balanced. The flavor profile of the wine is strawberry like with notes of raspberry as well. The finish is dry and has slight tannins that linger for a little while. Enjoy this bargain Pinot with roasted pork tenderloin with a brown sage sauce. Enjoy – Ken Winemaker Notes: Complex aromatics, with ripe strawberry and floral rose petals on the nose. Bright in color, this Pinot Noir exhibits flavors of sweet black cherry, cassis, spice and hints of cinnamon. Moderate tannins give this wine body and a smooth finish.
