Wine Review: This very dark purple wine opens with a very pleasant blackberry like bouquet. On the palate, this full bodied wine is smooth, elegant, and has fruit forward concentrated and ripe blackberry flavors with hints of black cherry. The finish is dry, with tingly tannins that fade away quite nicely. This wine paired nicely with my NY Sirloin steak at Smith & Wollensky. Our party thought this wine was the best of the evening. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Ripe black fruit flavors/aromatics of blackberry, dark plum, cherry, cassis. Spice and Anise notes. Oak nuances of toasted oak, roasted coffee, chocolate.Rich ripe tannins with powerful finish.

Organic status: not organic
