This Petite Sirah was my favorite wine in their lineup. This pitch black colored wine opens with a dark berry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth, and silky with concentrated and lush blueberry flavors. There is a touch of black current as well. The finish is quite dry and its tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair nicely with beef stew. Enjoy – Ken Winemaker Notes: This Petite Sirah is bold, yet elegant. Bringing Carignane into the blend adds a broad and soft dimension to the finished wine, along with a hint of rose petal in the bouquet. Overall, the wine exhibits floral notes along with rich fruit components of blackberry and currant, as well as cracked pepper and earthy spice. The flavors are of dense berries with hints of vanilla and exotic spices. Organic status: not organic Subscribers: Have you tried this wine? Rate it.(Not a subscriber?
