It is an opaque dark purple colored wine. It opens with a pleasant blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, with quite juicy blueberry flavors laced with oak and hints of liquid smoke. The finish is dry, a touch hot, and lingers slightly. This wine would pair well with a gourmet burger topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese. Enjoy – Ken Winemaker Notes: Deep crimson with sharp candy red highlights Upon swirling, jazzy notes of blackberries and sour cherries develop into fine traces of smoke and spices.
