Wine Review: This straw-colored Chenin Blanc from Swartland opens with a caramel and pear bouquet with a hint of mustiness. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, round and mouthcoating. The flavor profile is a unique toffee, lime and green apple blend with notes of vanilla, oak and a hint of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. The Panel suggested pairing this Chenin Blanc with fried calamari or just drinking it on its own. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Time spent on the less in concrete tanks and old casks gave the wine incredible texture and palate weight. The aromas are flinty with honey, orange blossom and white stone fruit notes. It is as deep and rich in flavor as its yellow hue predicts, moving from waxy apple flavors to mango, wildflower honey and tangerine. Bright acidity holds the flavors taut and firm.
