Wine Review: This midnight colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a black cherry and red plum bouquet with hints of cedar, eucalyptus, and lilac. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, smooth, and bright. The flavor profile is red currant and cedar blend with notes of nutmeg and cherry licorice. We also detected hints of cinnamon stick and red plum. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with French dip Kobe burgers. Enjoy - KWGTP
