Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with an espresso and black licorice bouquet with hints of blackberry, cherry-cola, and black olives. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and dense. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and oak blend with notes of black coffee, and boysenberry. We also detected hints of crushed stone and chocolate. The finish is very dry, and its tannins build-up and last for a very very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab for a while. Then we would pair it with a cowboy ribeye steak or braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
