Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot tied for first place in our first big blind Pinot tasting. It opens with an inviting cherry vanilla bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a tasty plum with notes of red cherry and a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its fine dusty tannins are pleasant and linger nicely. The panel suggested pairing this wine with roast pork tenderloin or roast chicken with a balsamic glaze. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine is remarkable for its incredible purity and focus on place of origin. It shows how intoxicating and alluring Pinot Noir can be, when priorities are re-directed towards subtlety, restraint and finesse rather than sheer power. This is the "seductive side" of Pinot Noir critics often refer to. Aromas of wild red raspberry and strawberry are abundant and vibrant, and though those focused aromas and flavors remain the dominant theme here, nuances of lavender, minerality and spice offer added interest in the background. Tremendously appealing for its honest and pure expression of this varietal.
