Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah opens with a new leather and blackberry bouquet with hints of black jellybean. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The flavor profile is a black jellybean and mild smoked meat blend with notes of fine minerality. I also detected hints of plum and faint raspberry tea in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its faint tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This easy to drink Syrah would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
