Wine Review: This expressive Italian rose is a pale salmon pink color, and the bouquet is a very fragrant blend of strawberries, honeydew, lime zest, potpourri, and an exotic spice note. It's clean and silky on the palate, balanced, medium bodied, with lively medium-plus acidity and a round mouthfeel. Flavors of white peach, ruby grapefruit, saline, white tea and lemon. There is also some Bing cherry mid-palate. The finish is dry, savory and lingers for a while. Pair with grilled red snapper tacos. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Bright, typical color, with a mango-colored rim. The 2022 Attems Ramato is delicately floral on the nose, with notes of broom and Alpine rose. When swirled in the glass, a distinctive aroma of green apple comes to the fore, carrying through into each sip. The body is light yet precise and complex, with a balanced acidity that flows nicely over the palate. The finish is characterized by the minerality associated with the area, with hints of currants and cherry plums. A perfect partner to sweeter cured meats and prosciutto or with shellfish.
