Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel from Amador County is a very good. It opens with a cranberry and red currant bouquet with hints of raspberry and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty pomegranate and red plum blend with notes of strawberry licorice and oak. We also detected hints of red cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins fade away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this food friendly Zin with the Woods Hill Table Charcuterie. Enjoy – KWGTP
