Wine Review: This opaque Cab from Carol Shelton is almost pitch black. It opens with a mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium, well balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins are sticky and nicely prolonged. This Cab is very food friendly and goes down easy. It did not last long, but it paired well with Roy's prime rib. Enjoy in the near term. Cheers – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dark red in color. It is graciously styled with black cherry cola and cassis fruit long and deep on nose and palate. There is also a nice hint of cedary oak spice and warm pipe tobacco aromas. Dark chocolate and vanilla at the finish. Smoothly structured tannins.
