Wine Review: This red colored Brunello opens with an old wet wood and black cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, elegant and very smooth. The flavor profile is a pleasant black cherry and gentle plum blend with very nicely integrated mild old oak. I also detected a touch of black licorice. The finish is quite dry and its dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. This wine is still young. I would decant it and serve it would a cowboy ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep ruby red, tending toward garnet. Bouquet: Violets, sweet ripe red fruits and berries, as well as cigar box and spices. Taste: Flavors of plums, cherries, blackberry jam and raspberries, with just a hint of wood. Well-structured with extraordinary concentration of fruit. Supple tannins and long finish. Ideal with red meat, savory game, and aged cheeses.
