Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine from Pomerol opens with a black cherry and aged cigar box bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is black currant and chalky minerality blend with notes of blackberry. We detected hints of dark cocoa and stewed black plum. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins build-up and linger for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this wine with a grilled hanger price. Enjoy – KWGTP
