Wine Review: This dark red colored Nebbiolo opens with an inviting teaberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a slightly tart red cherry and teaberry gum blend with notes of black tea and red licorice. I also detected some hints of stony minerality and craisin. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for a very long time. I would decant this Nebbiolo before serving it with red braised pork ribs (aka: Hong Shao Pai Gu) Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A wine of refinement, depth, and beautiful structure. Floral and berry aromas jump from the glass with secondary aromas of rose hip, orange zest, black currant, anise, dark cocoa just starting to develop. The intriguing bouquet is joined by dark cherry and plum fruit well integrated on the palate. There is a wonderful balance between the richness of fruit and complexity of age.
