Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Merlot opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a smoky oak and blueberry blend with hints of black cherry and plum. It reminded me of a South African wine. The finish is dry and is mild oak tannins lingers slightly. This is a good entry level offering that would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of vanilla bean, coffee bean, and mocha introduce this classic Merlot. Dark chocolate covered cherries, caramel and nutmeg flavors meld with silky tannins and create a long and elegant finish.
