Wine Review: This light yellow colored Viognier from Cristom comes with a fancy glass enclosure which was different. It opens with a Clementine bouquet with a hint of anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly crisp, and shows a little life. The flavor profile is a mild apricot with a hint of minerality, green melon, and a touch of spice. The finish is dry and is slightly prolonged. This is a very enjoyable Viognier that calls for a second glass. Enjoy it with seared sea scallops. Cheers - Ken
