Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Davis Estates is awesome! It opens with red raspberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of cinnamon, wintergreen, coffee, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is black currant and cedar blend with notes of sage and red plum. We also detected hints of cinnamon, black cherry, and dark chocolate. The finish is dry with integrated firm tannins that linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would serve this Cab by the firepit with porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
