Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Decoy opens with a pink grapefruit and kiwi bouquet with a hint of green apple hard candy. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and bright. The flavor profile displays flinty minerality and lime flavors along with notes of tart yellow grapefruit. I also detected some hints of pilsner beer. The finish is dry and almost dusty. This Sauvignon Blanc from Decoy would pair well with swordfish skewers. Enjoy – Ken
