Wine Review: This dark red colored Merlot from the Alexander Valley opens with a black cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and mild blueberry blend with notes of black cherry and green tea. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. This Merlot would pair well with a grilled Angus burger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This vibrant and alluring Merlot draws you in with fragrances of ripe raspberry, Bing cherry and red currant, as well as notions of cedar and sweet baking spice from oak aging. On the palate, velvety tannins accentuate the generous red berry and spice flavors as they flow to a long, juicy finish.
