Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Pinot Noir from Decoy opens with a black cherry-cola and red licorice bouquet with hints of red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, dense and rich for a Pinot. The flavor profile is cola, stewed black plum and black pepper blend with notes of black cherry and clove. I also detected hints of toasted oak and dark chocolate. The finish is dry, and its rich flavors linger nicely. This Pinot would pair nicely with Bull Run's pulled pork tacos. Enjoy – Ken
