Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Decoy opens with a fragrant gooseberry and lemon bouquet with hints of grapefruit pith and white pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and zesty. The flavor profile is lime and chalky minerality blend with notes of stone fruit and saline. I detected hints of quince and toasted almond. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair the Sauvignon Blanc with pan-fried walleye. Enjoy - Ken
